Virginia "Ginny" Morrow was the daughter of Athena Morrow who prior to the series, ended up in a coma after an accident. She later dies in the hospital. Her consciousness was replicated as the AI program V. However, even though V harbors all of Ginny's memories, she doesn't see herself as being Ginny.
